You can buy almost anything on the internet these days, and now you can even buy your own local airport on EBay. All it takes is almost three million dollars. Riverside County has put the Desert Center Airport on the market. The asking price? 2.7 million. The EBay web site says it’s an 11-hundred acre facility. Complete with a 4,200 foot runway, an operations building, a maintenance building, and a beacon tower. Full Story. Auction.
