As the pilot closes the cockpit door, four men dressed in suits leave their seats and accost him with plastic knives, one held tightly against his throat. But he steps back, draws a .38-caliber revolver and when the men keep coming, pulls the trigger again and then again. Passenger screams fill the cabin. The first bullet strikes one of the hijackers in the chest, knocking him to the floor. The others retreat, but a second bullet smashes a small hole in the fuselage and whirls into space. What then?
