Bombardier’s new enhanced vision system (BEVS) and a head-up display (HUD) have been FAA approved for installation in the Challenger 605 large-cabin business jet. The BEVS, developed in cooperation with Rockwell Collins, uses Esterline CMC Electronics’ SureSight CMA-2600i infrared camera to generate imagery in conditions of low light or poor visibility.
